Research showed that consumers viewed Wedgwood as a dinner service to be used for ‘high days and holidays’. Most consumers thought it would break easily and were worried that the pattern would be discontinued onced they’d started collecting it.
The Wedgwood Promise provided customers with peace of mind giving them accidental breakage cover and a pattern availability guarantee as well as a variety of other benefits and offers.
