HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY PGB

PGB Birthday.4The Pea Green Boat started out in 1990 purely as Packaging Design Consultants.

However, over the years we have extended our expertise and today offer a broad spectrum of brand related design services including, Logo Design and Corporate Identity, Point-of-Sale, Brochure and Literature Design, Website Design, Social Media, Advertising, Experiential Design and Exhibition Work.

Over the past 26 years the landscape of design has changed immensely, but one thing remains the same – our desire to produce effective, long lasting work for our clients based on good ideas.

Since 1990 we have worked with some of the countries largest organisations and brands and at the same time helped countless small business start-ups get off the ground with effective design and sound advice.

Our work has also been rewarded with several awards both nationally and internationally.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with some truly talented people in all areas of the industry – both on the Creative, Marketing and Client side.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful staff, clients and suppliers that I have had the pleasure of working with over these past 26 years and  look forward to the new challenges presented by the modern design and marketing landscape.

The Pea Green Boat will continue to produce exellent work for our clients – not always necessarily giving them what they want – but always giving them what they need and possibly never dreamed they could ever have.

Je Suis Paris

Je Suis ParisThe Pea Green Boat Design would like to convey it’s solidarity with the people of France and express our shock and horror at the events in Paris on Friday evening. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those that lossed their lives or were injured in this mindless and sickening act. Je Suis Paris.

Inner-Soul Organics win a Bronze Award

Bronze Award for Inner-Soul Organics Special Breast Soothing OilCongratulations to Emma of Inner-Soul Organics on her Free From Skincare 2013 Bronze Award for Mum’s Special Breast Soothing Oil.

We know it’s the formulation of the oil that really counts – but could the packaging have swayed the judges a tad? We like to think so, but we’re kidding ourselves of course!

Well done Emma – another superb addition to a great range of products.

Two gold awards for The Little Red Box of Cheese!

The Little Red Box of Cheese Packaging design The Pea Green Boat Design, Croydon, Surrey, London We worked closely with ULN’s New Product Development Manager on the branding and design for The Little Red Box of Cheese, which recently won the 2011 Nantwich International Cheese Award’s Trophy for Best New Retail Innovation and Gold Award for Best Cheese Snack at the Frome Global Cheese Awards.

The Little Red Box of Cheese from the Westbury Cheese Company, ULN (UK) Limited is a true innovation in terms of format and design aimed at adult snacking.

The Little Red Box of Cheese is an adult real cheese snacking solution with everything you need for the perfect ‘on the go lunch’. Included are three portions of different cheeses, eight oatcakes, caramelised onion chutney, a knife, an antibacterial wipe and a fold-out plate.

“Research showed that the packaging was a big draw for consumers, offering good stand-out on shelf and giving first impressions of a new, stylish, and exciting product.”
NPD Manager. ULN

In product trials, 90% said that The Little Red Box of Cheese “is a great idea for lunch” and 92% said it “makes a nice change from sandwiches”. A whopping eight out of 10 said they “would be happy to have this for lunch every few weeks” and rated it “excellent” or “very good”. Comments from shoppers included “it’s a lunchtime meal – you’ve got all the bits!”.

Congratulations to the team at ULN who enabled this project to happen and a big thank you for getting us involved.
